Modular photographic installations,
various formats, from 10x15 cm photo prints
Involving sampling, cropping and editing, the Et maintenant le désert series consists of large digital photographs of the white and black Egyptian desert, subdivided into 10x15 cm postcard format, then printed. These photographic fragments of sediment are accompanied by 3D scans of white stones from the same ecosystem, printed in the same way.
These elements recompose and propose a speculative visualization of this desert territory, its forms and temporalities. The installation of the works in the space is thus declined in different versions, like so many possible representations of this performed geography, which from its present traces tries to imagine future deployments.
